The Inner Game of Leadership
Corporate Training Proposal & Workshop Development
The Inner Game of Leadership is a corporate training proposal I developed to help business owners understand the hidden impact unmanaged stress can have on employee performance, communication, productivity, and ultimately, the organization itself.
The project begins by reframing common workplace challenges—including communication breakdowns, conflict, mistakes under pressure, burnout, absenteeism, and declining productivity—as problems that can often be influenced by how employees respond to stress. Research and industry sources are incorporated throughout the presentation to connect workplace stress with tangible organizational and financial consequences, including lost productivity, absenteeism, turnover, errors, delays, and rework.
From there, the proposal introduces The Inner Game of Leadership Workshop—a practical employee-development program focused on helping people recognize and manage their internal responses under pressure. The workshop is built around five pillars: Awareness, Regulation, Communication, Collaboration, and Performance.
Rather than ending when the presentation is over, the program was designed to extend into practical application through an accompanying workbook, giving employees exercises they can use to reflect on what they've learned and begin applying those principles to real workplace situations.
